Jacob Ward Chief Commercial Officer Jacob Ward joined Xpress Global Systems (XGS) in September 2022 as Senior Director of National Accounts and now serves as Chief Commercial Officer. With over 22 years of experience in the Less-than-Truckload (LTL) industry, Jacob brings a proven track record of success in both commercial strategy and operational leadership.

In his current role, Jacob oversees the company’s sales, marketing, and customer service functions—leading the development and execution of integrated strategies that drive growth, elevate customer experience, and position XGS for long-term success.

Before joining XGS, Jacob held leadership roles at UPS, Averitt Express, and Southeastern Freight Lines. His diverse background has equipped him with a deep understanding of transportation networks, customer engagement, and scalable growth models.

Jacob holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Management, and a Master of Arts in Theology, both from Trevecca Nazarene University. He is passionate about developing people, building strong teams, and delivering meaningful results across the organization.
