Merger and Acquisition Updates for XGS and 7 Hills Transport

We are excited to announce the consolidation of the 7 Hills Transport Texas facilities into the three XGS facilities: Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston. The following are the locations with the XGS address and the targeted dates each facility consolidation will occur:

The consolidation of these facilities, along with the ongoing evaluation of process improvements at Cartersville and New Orleans, strengthens our footprint and allows us to continue with our accelerated growth while delivering value to our combined customers.

Are my prices changing due to the consolidation?

If you do not have rates established with XGS, your 7 Hills rates will remain in place through the remainder of the year. If you have rates with both XGS and 7 Hills, your account rep will be in touch to clarify the details of your rates following the consolidation.

I have rates with 7 Hills and XGS - which rates will I use?

If you have rates with both XGS and 7 Hills, your account rep will be in touch to clarify the details of your rates following the consolidation.

Who will my account rep be after the change?

Customers in TX may reach out to Charlie Young or their local service center manager for assistance.

Will XGS continue to offer 7 Hills truckload services?

There are no planned changes to the 7 Hills service offerings.

Will this consolidation also involve Delta Distribution/Michigan Carpet?

No – the consolidation of the 7 Hills facilities in Texas will not have any impact on Delta/Michigan.

Will my invoices continue to come from 7 Hills?

Yes – you will continue to receive 7 Hills’ invoices until the changeover date, then your invoice will come from XGS.

Are my payment terms staying the same?

Yes – your current payment terms will be honored by XGS.

Do I continue to pay my invoices the same way with the same remit to?

Yes- You will be notified directly from XGS via your normal invoicing if any changes to this occur.

Can we combine outbound loads for 7HT and XGS on same trailer right now?

No – please continue keeping these separate.

Will there be differences in transit times?

Normal transit times will not be impacted by this consolidation.

Can I continue to consolidate multiple shippers into one load (combo loads)?

Yes – please continue using the same services you use now.

Will I be able to continue to 'Hold at Origin' certain loads in GA for consolidation?

Yes – please continue using the same services you use now.

Can I continue to use a combo load with multi-stops?

Yes – please continue using the same services you use now.

Will I continue to be able to store product in your trailers in GA?

Yes – please continue using the same services you use now.

Will you continue to offer TL and TL load-building services?

Yes – please continue using the same services you use now.
